The Reverse Turn sign indicates that there are two turns in opposite directions, as defined in the warrants for turn signs, which are separated by a tangent of less than 120m.

If the first turn is to the right, a right Reverse Turn sign is used (WA-4R). If the first turn is to the left, a left Reverse Turn sign is used (WA-4L). The Advisory Speed tab (WA-7) is used only where required.
