The Two-Way Traffic sign indicates to drivers that the section of road which they are traveling on is a two-way road, and that the normal rules of the road for two-way operation apply.

This sign should be placed on both sides of the road. It indicates to drivers who have been traveling on a one-way street, or on one half of a divided highway, that they are now traveling on a section which is operated two-way. In certain circumstances, it may be necessary to repeat the signing at intervals along the road.

The Two-Way Traffic Ahead sign (WB-3) is used to provide advance warning of two-way traffic operation ahead.
