The Turns Prohibited sign indicates to drivers that they are not permitted to turn left or right at the intersection.

The sign is used where all traffic in all lanes of the road must proceed straight ahead. Where only a specific lane(s) must proceed straight, the RB-45 sign must be used for the appropriate lane(s).
