The Pedestrian Pushbutton sign may be used where there are pedestrian activated traffic control signals or special crosswalks.

The sign must be mounted at each end of the crosswalk, directly above the pushbutton. The pushbutton itself should be installed 1.25m above ground level.

The right and left version is used as appropriate so that the arrow and pedestrian symbol on each sign point in the direction of the crossing.
