The Saskatchewan Association
of Rural Municipalities (SARM) is the independent association
that represents rural municipal government in Saskatchewan.
SARM provides support for members
on individual issues with provincial or senior governments.
Matters that arise from convention resloutions are also deal
with.
SARM encourages and supports
all legislation changes requested by members. SARM also reviews
legislative amendments affecting rural municipalities under
consideration by the Province to ensure the legislation is
in the best interest of RMs.
The staff at SARM have a significant
amount of experience in municipal government.
In addition to direct member
services, SARM also engages in municipal and agricultural
policy
analysis.

SUMA is the provincial
voice of urban municipalities in Saskatchewan. On behalf of
all its members, SUMA advocates and develops policy positions,
and delivers programs and services to member municipalities.
